Tagged: moleskine sketchbook art doodles whine

I love Moleskines. But I don’t want to be mistaken for the pretentious types who look down upon on other sketchbooks or who think using them will make them a better artist or writer. I honestly love the Moleskine sketchbooks because of the quality of paper - thick, buff-colored, and not too much tooth, but just enough to make colored pencils look oh-so-fab. Plus, Moleskines are just straight-up sexy. That’s not to say I have no love for other sketchbooks - because I do have much love for them! Moleskines are a nice luxury, but I do like to opt for cost-effective materials. My only gripe is…no buff-colored paper in these. At least not what I’ve seen. Point me to some regular spiral sketchbooks that don’t have blaring white paper and I’ll consider!
